Some alumni have been asking us about the possibility of Reunion Weekend activities beyond the actual event. Below are some possibilities we've uncovered thus far, all of which would involve an extra cost beyond the Reunion itself. We would very much welcome additional ideas and your feedback by submitting comments below.
Friday, October 5 -- Landmark on Main Street, a very popular local concert venue in Port Washington, will be featuring a Fleetwood Mac tribute band and would be willing to set aside a block of tickets for us. We might even be able to gather for cocktails beforehand in an adjacent room.
Saturday, October 6 -- There may be a chance for us to attend a homecoming event at Herricks High School. We have been in touch with the incoming principal (as of June) and are waiting to hear back from her. In addition to attending a homecoming event, we may want to request a tour of the school or even consider offering a Class of 1968 gift or scholarship.
Sunday, October 7 -- Starting at 11 a.m., the ever-popular Eddie's Pizza in New Hyde Park would be open for us to have a post-Reunion recap.
Sunday, October 7 -- My Father's Place, the concert venue inside the Roslyn Hotel, is staging a Jimmy Webb concert at 3 p.m.
