What to do on Reunion Weekend (Scroll down to the bottom to check the local weather forecast.)
Sunday, October 7, after 11 a.m. -- With today's weather forecast looking great, we've reserved an outdoor picnic area at the picturesque Sands Point Preserve, 127 Middle Neck Road, if some of you would like to have an informal Sunday gathering with your classmates. Our location is the Great Lawn Boulders, where there are tables seating up to 36 people under a canopy of shade trees in the center of the Great Lawn. You can take a short walk to Long Island Sound and/or visit three mansions on the grounds. There is no formal agenda. This is a bring-your-own-provisions, come-as-you-are event and no cooking is permitted. To avoid the vending machines, we offer below some locations where you can pick up sandwiches, salads, drinks and other items before you arrive at the Preserve.
Where to Dine Nearby (when you've had your fill of Eddie's)
You'll find many more restaurants spanning all types of cuisines and pricing in Port Washington.
